Informations on our own behalf
FirePublications - New Name and new Logo!
The former "Presse- und Werbeagentur" (Press- and
Public Relations Agency) got a new name: "FirePublications"!
With this new name and with the respective logo we will
try to be equivalent in the context of our work and the growing international
contacts.
While the characters "FirePublications" marked
our letterheads, our emails and our webpages since a longer time, you will
find the embroidered logo with the stylized flame and the Europe-Stars
next on our duty clothes, on t-shirts and on other presentations.
"FirePublications", flame and stars will
now especially reflect our international views and orientations
in the context of the Fire- and Rescue Services in Germany, Europe
and in the USA.

FirePublications - now patches with the new logo, too!
Now our patches with the new logo are available! They
were created especially for our work in foreign countries
and therefor they are equiped with english markings for "Feuerwehr"
and "Rettung" (FIRE RESCUE) and with the function term "Documentation"
(German: Dokumentation) as well.
Shirts, sweaters and jackets of the "FirePublications"
will be equiped with the new patches in future.

Decoration for Merit about the Czech Fire Service
Wolfgang Jendsch from Radolfzell/Germany
got Medal of Honour
An up to that time unexpected decoration
on the occasion of the traditional fire service event „Hasicske slavnosti
2010“ in Litomerice, Czech Republic (Bohemia) got the Special Editor
for Fire and Emergency Wolfgang Jendsch from Radolfzell/Lake Constance,
Germany.
For his long-standing merits about the Czech Fire
and Emergency Service Wolfgang was decorated with the medal of
honour of the „Czech Association for Saving historic Fire Service
Traditions“ (Hasicske Tradice) within the bounds of an official
reception in the city hall of Litomerice/Czech Republic.
So Wolfgang Jendsch received the first one of alltogether
500 limited medals inclusive of uniform bangle, badge and diploma
from the associations chairperson Jindrich Hejduk. To the honour event
took part among others also the Patron of the event, the Minister
of the Interior of the Czech Republic Ing. Martin Pecina (MBA),
the Director of the Czech Fire- and Rescue Corps General Major
Ing. Miroslav Stepan and the Patron of the Bohemia, Mähria
and Silesia Volunteer Fire Association, Karel Richter.
The Radolfzeller editor received a honoring unexpected
till then for fire prevention and rescue service Wolfgang Jendsch now on
the occasion of the fire brigade-traditional arrangement „ Hasicske slavnosti
in 2010 “ in the Czech Litomerice (Leitmeritz/Bohemia). For his long-standing
salaries around the Czech fire being and rescue being Jendsch was distinguished
within the scope of a receipt in the city hall of Litomerice/Czechia with
the honorary medallion of the " Czech union to the preservation of historical
traditions “ (Hasicske Tradice). Wolfgang Jendsch received with it the
first one of the medallions limited all together on 500 pieces including
uniform braces, Anstecknadel and document from the hands of federation
chairperson Jindrich Hejduk. Among the rest, to the honor were also the
patron of the arrangement and Ministers of the Interior of Czech Republic,
engineer Martin Pecina (MBA), the manager of the Czech fire corps and rescue
corps, major general engineer. Miroslav Stepan as well as the chairperson
of the federation böhmischen, mährischen and Silesian voluntary
fire brigades, Karel Richter, appeared.

Within the scope of his professional job with fire brigades
in the European Union (EU) Wolfgang Jendsch maintains for many years narrow
professional and comradely contacts to professional and voluntary fire
and rescue brigades in the Czech Republic, which led among others
to numerous international publications and books about
the Czech Fire- and Rescue Service.
Already in 1992 Wolfgang Jendsch was appointed for his
achievements in the scope of international fire services as a honorary
member of the „Ohniva Mini Republika“ of the Czechoslowakia fire brigades
at that time, approved by "Legitimace B 6271“ by the Czech Ministry of
the Interior in Praque.
Especially last year Wolfgang Jendsch, who was long years
active as a Fire Service Public Information Officer (PIO) and as a Special
Advisers for Documentation/Public Relations of the Radolfzell Fire Department
as well, was invited by the Olomouc/Moravia Czech Railroad Fire Brigade
(Hasicska Zachranna Sluzba Ceske Drahy) to a education training for fire-fighting
tank and rescue tank drivers -, also a special honour, which will remain
without doubt in special recollection.
In his book about "East European Firefighting Vehicles“
of the well-known "Motorbuch Verlag" (German publishing house) - planned
for the autumn 2010 - author Wolfgang Jendsch will dedicate a special space
to the Czech Fire Service and its special apparatus technology.

International Award for "Fire
Photo"
With a diploma for one of the ten world-best "Fire
and Rescue Photos" within the scope of the international invited
"Golden
Firefighter Award 2005" now the
"History on Fire" named photo of Editor
and Author Wolfgang Jendsch was awarded to. Beside the first winner of
the "Golden Firefighter Award 2005", Jeff Couch from New York/USA, the
jury of "Videofuego" from Badajoz in Spain voted further nine pictures
as international "Special Mentions" in the scope of excellent
documentary contents and superior photographically quality.
Since 1987 every year thousands of photographers and
cameramen/women from the whole world competed for the "Golden Firefighter
Award" in the special sections "photo", "video" and "multimedia".
Photo author Wolfgang Jendsch had taken his picture in
October 1992 until a night time blaze of a warehouse in Engen/Hegau
(Germany). Already before the picture of the full-burning half-timbered
house attracted attention in reports and special fire books.
Wolfgang Jendsch is a member of the "International Organization of Fire
Photography (IOFP) and the "California Fire Photographers Association"
(CFPA) in California/USA as well.

The photo was taken in October 1992 until of a blaze of a warehouse
in Engen/Hegau.
Radolfzell Firefighters "in the Focus of their American Fellows"
Exceptional attention to firefightern in the USA after
more than ten years became the Radolfzell Fire Departments operation
during a warehouse blaze in May 1992.
Later on the magazine of the "California Fire Photographers
Association" (CFPA) published two photos of blazes in Radolfzell.
